This funding opportunity seeks applications for leadership of the Epilepsy Research Program (ERP) Virtual Post-Traumatic Epilepsy Research Center (ViP-TERC), a unique, interactive virtual research center designed to foster the development of new and early-career post-traumatic epilepsy (PTE) investigators. The ViP-TERC provides intensive mentoring, national networking, collaborations, and a peer group to support career growth and research productivity in the PTE field. The overarching goal is to enhance both the quality and quantity of PTE research by developing a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

Each PI receives a separate award to their organization. The center's activities include mentoring, organizing workshops, integrating lived-experience consultants, and promoting military health relevance through collaboration with Department of Defense (DoD) and Veterans Affairs (VA) entities.
