Description
This program provides funding for the purchase of a single, shared-use piece of equipment or instrument that will significantly advance fundamental and applied research, research training, and extension activities in the food and agricultural sciences. The focus is on equipment that is too costly or not suitable for support through other NIFA grant programs. The goal is to strengthen research infrastructure and expand research capabilities at eligible institutions, including colleges, universities, and state cooperative extension systems.
