Description
The Equity Action Fund provides annual programmatic and capacity-building grants to organizations serving Rhode Island’s LGBTQ+ communities. The fund supports efforts to increase advocacy capacity, build partnerships and coalitions, and provide community education. Both all-volunteer and grassroots organizations, as well as agencies not exclusively focused on LGBTQ+ issues but serving these communities, are encouraged to apply. Funding priorities include addressing policy issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community, enhancing organizational effectiveness, and promoting inclusive community education.
