Description
This program provides annual project and capacity building grants to empower organizations serving Rhode Island's LGBTQ communities. Funding supports a wide range of activities, including advocacy to address policy issues, community education, partnership and coalition development, and organizational strengthening (such as strategic planning, board development, fundraising, and evaluation). The grant aims to uplift organizations that play a vital and unique role in the LGBTQ community, with a particular emphasis on welcoming applications from all-volunteer and grassroots groups, regardless of grantwriting experience.
