Description
The ERC Consolidator Grant is a flagship funding scheme from the European Research Council (ERC) under the Horizon Europe programme. It is designed to support excellent Principal Investigators (PIs) who are consolidating their own independent research team or programme. This grant empowers researchers who have already demonstrated research independence to further develop their careers and research agendas. The ERC promotes ambitious, ground-breaking research in any scientific field, with scientific excellence as the sole evaluation criterion. Projects are expected to push the boundaries of knowledge and innovation and must be carried out in EU Member States or Horizon Europe Associated Countries.
