This Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action aims to boost the commercialisation of academic research by empowering Technology Transfer Offices (TTOs) to facilitate access to intellectual assets for industry, startups, and scaleups. The call focuses on fostering collaboration between academia and industry, developing startup-friendly licensing and intellectual property management policies, and increasing the number of research-based spinoffs. Projects are expected to identify and share best practices in knowledge valorisation, develop adaptable tools for licensing and transfer, create incentive models for researchers and students, and pilot these approaches. The outcomes will inform the development of a comprehensive blueprint for licensing, revenue sharing, and equity participation to support effective intellectual asset management and commercialisation across Europe.
