--- ## Description This funding opportunity supports collaborative research between EU and Japan to prepare for the exploitation of Quantum Space Gravimetry (QSG) mission data. The call aims to establish a foundation for effective use of QSG data, promote quantum sensing research from space, and foster innovative applications in Earth sciences. The selected project will develop or tailor processing algorithms, engage relevant user institutions early, and demonstrate the benefits and performance of quantum space gravimetry, contributing to the EU space policy and the EU Green Deal. --- ## Due Dates - **Opening date:** May 22, 2025 - **Proposal deadline:** September 25, 2025 (17:00 Brussels time) - **Model:** Single-stage submission --- ## Funding Amount - **Total budget available:** €500,000 - **Expected EU contribution per project:** €450,000 to €500,000 (lump sum) - **Number of projects funded:** 1 --- ## Eligibility - **Consortium requirement:** Must include at least one legal entity established in Japan. - **EU funding eligibility:** Only entities from EU Member States and Horizon Europe Associated Countries are eligible for EU funding.
