Description
The Evarts A. Graham Memorial Traveling Fellowship, established by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery (AATS), is designed to foster the professional development of promising young academic cardiothoracic surgeons from outside North America. Each year, two fellowships are awarded—one in cardiac and one in thoracic surgery—providing recipients the opportunity to spend six months at a North American host institution of their choice. During this period, fellows can engage in observation, consultation, teaching, and research, and may also visit additional centers for complementary experiences. The program aims to enhance international collaboration, broaden surgical expertise, and support the development of future leaders in thoracic surgery.
