--- ## Description The EvolveMKD Fellowship is an annual award recognizing one undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a major or minor in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, English, or a closely related field. The fellowship includes a $5,000 scholarship and a paid, twelve-week, full-time internship at EvolveMKD, a public relations and digital marketing agency based in New York City. The program is designed to support students from underrepresented or historically marginalized backgrounds, first-generation college students, and/or BIPOC-identified students. The internship offers hands-on experience in a collaborative, high-performing agency environment, with opportunities to learn across marketing disciplines. --- ## Due Dates - February 2027 (anticipated/projected) *All dates are projected based on the annual cycle; check the program page for updates.* --- ## Funding Amount - $5,000 scholarship awarded to one student annually. - Paid internship for twelve weeks, full-time (40 hours/week), at $20/hour, in New York, NY. --- ## Eligibility Applicants must: - Be a registered undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited U.S. college or university. - Be on track to graduate in May 2027 or be available to work full-time starting in summer 2027. - Be pursuing a major or minor in communications, marketing, public relations, journalism, English, or a related field (preferred). - Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher (on a 4.0 scale). - Identify as BIPOC, be a first-generation college student, and/or a member of an underrepresented or historically marginalized group. - Have at least 2 months of public relations internship experience. - Be authorized to work in the United States and have appropriate identification. - Be able to work in-person at EvolveMKD’s New York office at least three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday). - Be able to work 40 hours/week (9 AM–6 PM) during the fellowship. - Be open to potentially joining the agency full-time after the fellowship. - PRSSA membership is preferred. - Demonstrated interest or experience in beauty, health, and lifestyle PR is a bonus. - Possess strong written communication skills and proficiency in Office365, Excel, and PowerPoint. --- ## Application Process - Complete the online application form (available via the PRSA Foundation site). - Submit a resume. - Provide a personal statement. - Submit work samples, if available.
