The Young Investigator Grants (YIG) from the Breast Cancer Alliance provide two-year awards to early-career clinical doctors and research scientists, including postdoctoral fellows, for independent research projects focused on breast cancer. The program aims to catalyze innovative research and support the career development of promising young investigators who have not yet secured major independent funding. Projects developing novel therapeutic strategies, diagnostic and prognostic tools, liquid biopsy applications, and radiation therapy approaches are prioritized, but all breast cancer–related topics (excluding lifestyle, epidemiology, psychology, sociology, and international research) are considered.
