Description
This funding opportunity aims to expand global health security in Indonesia through local partnerships that support collaboration between the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Indonesian Ministry of Health (MOH). The program focuses on building capacity to prevent, detect, and respond to public health threats, in alignment with International Health Regulations (IHR) and Indonesia’s national health security priorities.
Projects should address five key public health areas:
- Real-time surveillance and reporting
- Laboratory systems
- Workforce development
- Emergency management and response
- Health system strengthening and service delivery
Applicants are expected to build upon existing public health infrastructure and activities, particularly those initiated under the previous CDC project (CDC-RFA-GH20-2120). Proposals should address recommendations from the 2023 Joint External Evaluation (JEE), align with MOH strategic plans, prioritize gaps identified in the National Action Plan for Health Security, and include robust monitoring and evaluation components.
