This grant opportunity, administered by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services, is designed to expand access to peer-run organizations (PROs) throughout Ohio. Funding supports both the establishment of new certified PROs—including those using the Clubhouse Model—and the expansion of services at existing certified PROs. The aim is to strengthen infrastructure, workforce, and programming that promote recovery, empowerment, and education for individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders.
Eligible projects may include outreach, workforce development, operational improvements, and the creation of supportive peer facilities. Awardees are expected to adhere to evidence-based practices, demonstrate a strong recovery vision, and maintain accountability to the recovery community. Technical assistance is available from statewide peer recovery organizations to help grantees achieve their goals.
