Description
This program funds large-scale, long-term research projects in computing and information science and engineering that have the potential to define the future of the field. The initiative encourages the formation of multidisciplinary teams that pursue bold, fundamental research agendas, aiming for disruptive innovation and broad societal impact. Projects should address deep scientific questions or hard problems, foster creativity, and include plans for broadening participation in computing. Additional Innovation Transition (InTrans) awards are available to help transition outcomes from funded projects into industry.
