Description
This grant program, administered by the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), aims to expand and diversify the pipeline of future aircraft pilots and unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) operators. The program funds innovative projects that provide educational pathways, training, outreach, and career transition support for aspiring pilots, including veterans, high school and college students, and flight instructors. At least 20% of total funding supports the Willa Brown Aviation Education Program, focusing on opportunity zone communities.
