--- ## Description This funding opportunity aims to develop a coordinated European ecosystem for AI in Science. The grant supports the creation of a Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) by mobilizing domain and AI researchers across diverse scientific fields. The agenda will identify long-term research challenges where AI can drive significant breakthroughs aligned with EU policy priorities, including environmental and social goals. The project also assesses options for optimizing the AI in Science ecosystem in Europe, with a focus on data access, infrastructure, support services, and talent development. Key activities include: - Developing a SRIA that highlights research challenges and pilot areas for AI in Science. - Building evidence and assessing needs for future research and innovation (R&I) initiatives in AI for Science. - Coordinating and disseminating interdisciplinary AI-enabled science. - Engaging a broad range of stakeholders through events, a dedicated website, and best practices sharing. - Prototyping scenarios for R&I initiatives and infrastructure improvements with diverse stakeholders. -
