The Faculty Fellowship in Orthodox Christian Studies at the Orthodox Christian Studies Center at Fordham University is designed to support established or emerging faculty scholars whose research engages with the history, thought, or culture of Orthodox Christianity. Fellows are welcomed from all humanities disciplines and are expected to produce original, humanities-based research that contributes to the growth of Orthodox Christian Studies as a distinct academic discipline. During the fellowship period, recipients are in residence at the Center, participating in its scholarly community and benefiting from opportunities for intellectual exchange and public scholarship. The fellowship is funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities and aims to consolidate and advance the field of Orthodox Christian Studies through significant scholarly contributions.
