Description
The Faculty Roundtable Program, administered by the Williams College Dean of the Faculty, supports faculty scholarship and creative work through reciprocal exchanges of works in progress. Each semester, up to twelve faculty members are selected to participate in self-governed groups of four. The groups are intended to be informal and social while remaining focused on exchanging ideas and gathering feedback.
Roundtables encourage discussion of both individual works in progress and strategies for pursuing scholarly and creative work. Groups may bring together colleagues within or across departments, programs, divisions, and faculty ranks. Shared expertise or research interests are not expected; instead, group composition should support informed dialogue. The program aims to foster collaboration and collegiality that continue beyond the funding period.
