Due Dates: June 22, 2026: Application submission deadline — applications must be submitted at least 21 days in advance of the start of travel or virtual event (no exceptions).
Funding Amounts: $250 (virtual) | $900 (domestic) | $1,500 (international); one virtual/domestic grant per fiscal year, or one international grant every other year.

Description
This program provides travel funding for UCSB Academic Senate members to attend and present at national or international conferences. The grants are intended to enable faculty to share new research findings or creative work, fostering academic exchange and increasing scholarly visibility. Funding supports one virtual or domestic trip per fiscal year, or, as an alternative, one international trip every other year in lieu of virtual/domestic travel. Only trips for the purpose of presenting original research or creative work at organized, broadly publicized conferences are eligible.
