Description
This grant supports public entities in the development, implementation, and coordination of programs or activities designed to enforce rights granted by the Fair Housing Act or by substantially equivalent state or local laws. Funding through the Administrative Enforcement Initiative (AEI) enables recipients to address discriminatory housing practices through enforcement and compliance activities. The program is part of the Fair Housing Initiatives Program (FHIP) and is intended to strengthen fair housing enforcement at the state and local level.
