Description
The Family Violence Prevention and Services Act (FVPSA) grant is Alabama’s primary federal funding stream for programs that provide emergency shelter, supportive services, and prevention initiatives for victims of family, domestic, and dating violence and their dependents. Administered by the Alabama Department of Economic and Community Affairs (ADECA), the grant aims to increase public awareness, prevent violence, and expand or maintain services, including specialized support for children and underserved populations.
