    Description

    The Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP), administered by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service, provides competitive grants to strengthen direct producer-to-consumer marketing channels, such as farmers markets, roadside stands, community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs, agritourism, and online sales. The program aims to increase the availability of locally and regionally produced agricultural products and enhance market access for producers. Four project types are supported: Capacity Building, Community Development Training and Technical Assistance, Turnkey Marketing and Promotion, and Turnkey Recruitment and Training, each with specific funding ranges and project durations.
