    Description

    The Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP) funds projects that develop, coordinate, and expand direct producer-to-consumer marketing channels, such as farmers markets, community-supported agriculture (CSA) programs, roadside stands, agritourism, and online sales. The program aims to bolster local and regional food systems by supporting marketing, promotion, recruitment, training, and technical assistance initiatives that benefit multiple producers and their communities. Four project types are available: Capacity Building, Community Development Training and Technical Assistance, Turnkey Marketing and Promotion, and Turnkey Recruitment and Training.
