Description
The Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services (DHHS), via its Council on Developmental Disabilities, is soliciting applications for projects designed to enhance competitive, integrated employment for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Nebraska. This funding aims to foster systemic change, promote self-determination and independence, and support full community inclusion for people with I/DD. Projects may address barriers such as transportation, expand person-centered planning for youth transitions, provide employer outreach and education, or develop resources and training that strengthen pathways to meaningful employment. All proposals should demonstrate sustainability beyond the grant period and leverage collaboration with community partners.
