Description
The Nebraska Department of Health & Human Services, through the Council on Developmental Disabilities, offers subawards to support projects that address gaps and barriers in services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families. Funded projects should focus on advocacy, education, systemic change, and the development of accessible resources, with the goal of promoting self-determination, independence, productivity, and full inclusion in community life. Projects may include activities such as training, community education, development of accessible materials, advocacy, and leadership development for people with disabilities.
