This grant is designed to support promising early-career investigators in cancer research who are nearing the completion of their postdoctoral or clinical research fellowship training and are at a pivotal transition point toward becoming independent researchers. In addition to providing one year of research funding, recipients are paired with a Fellow of the AACR Academy for structured, quarterly virtual mentorship sessions focused on research guidance, career planning, and professional advancement within the cancer research community.
