    Description

This opportunity offers supplemental funding for highly rated postdoctoral fellowship applications that align with specific Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) priority areas. The targeted areas for this cycle are: aging (with a focus on geroscience), pandemic preparedness and health emergencies (including behavioural sciences, health systems, intervention research, One Health, and infectious disease modelling), and sex and gender in health research (including intersectionality, mechanisms, and health equity in priority communities). Funding is provided through Priority Announcements, which require applicants to demonstrate the relevance of their research to the chosen area and to justify alignment with the strategic plan or mandate of the relevant CIHR institute or center.
