This opportunity provides funding through the Advanced Digital Construction Management Systems (ADCMS) Program under the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA). The ADCMS program supports State Departments of Transportation (DOTs), including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, in adopting and deploying advanced digital technologies and management systems throughout the lifecycle of highway construction projects. The program aims to improve project delivery, reduce costs and delays, enhance safety, promote interoperability, and foster innovation in digital construction management.
ADCMS projects may include the use of Building Information Modeling (BIM), digital project management, automated machinery, and other digital tools that streamline information sharing, reduce paper reliance, and support workforce development. The program also encourages collaboration with local governments, Tribes, and private industry.
