--- ## Description The Fiscal Year 2025 Transit Security Grant Program (TSGP) is a competitive grant program administered by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The TSGP provides funding to eligible public transit agencies to enhance security measures, protect critical surface transportation infrastructure, and increase the resilience of transit systems and the traveling public against acts of terrorism and other threats. This program is part of DHS/FEMA’s broader focus on transportation infrastructure security and supports investments in planning, operational activities, equipment, training, awareness campaigns, exercises, and capital projects. The FY 2025 program emphasizes risk-informed investments that align with current national security priorities, including cybersecurity and the protection of soft targets. --- ## Due Dates - Application Deadline: **August 15, 2025, 5:00 p.m. Eastern Time** - Anticipated funding selection: No later than August 23, 2025 - Anticipated award date: No later than September 30, 2025 - Projected period of performance: 36 months (standard projects) or 48 months (capital infrastructure projects) beginning September 1, 2025 --- ## Funding Amount - **Total available funding:** $83,700,000 - **Number of awards:** ~25–30 - **Award range:** $348,373 to $33,898,500, as allocated in Appendix A of the NOFO - **Project duration:** 36 months (general projects) or 48 months (capital projects) - **No cost sharing or matching requirement** --- ## Eligibility - **Eligible applicants:** Only specific public transit agencies listed in Appendix A of the FY 2025 NOFO are eligible.
