The Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program is a FEMA initiative under the National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP) that partners with eligible entities to collaboratively deliver flood hazard data, maps, and related information to communities. The goal is to increase public awareness of flood risk and support actions to reduce that risk. CTP recipients in Region 5 will use funding to finish existing mapping projects rather than initiate new studies. The program emphasizes building local capability and capacity to support NFIP goals and responsible flood risk management.
