The Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program is a FEMA initiative designed to foster partnerships with eligible entities to deliver flood hazard data, maps, and related information to communities. The program aims to increase public awareness of flood risk and support actions that reduce that risk, thereby strengthening local capabilities to make informed decisions about floodplain management, mitigation, and responsible planning. For FY 2026, the focus is on completing existing mapping projects; no new mapping study starts will be funded. Eligible project types are limited to Flood Risk Projects (FRP), Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) review activities, and Project Management (PM).
