The FEMA Cooperating Technical Partners (CTP) Program for Region 8 provides funding to eligible governmental and nonprofit partners to develop and maintain flood hazard data and maps. The program aims to increase public awareness of flood risk and support actions to reduce that risk, thereby strengthening local capacity for responsible floodplain management and disaster mitigation. In FY 2026, the program focuses on completing ongoing mapping projects and will not fund new mapping study starts. Eligible project types are limited to Flood Risk Projects (FRP), Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) Review, and Project Management.
