This program provides fixed, noncompetitive grants to designated state fire training agencies to support the delivery and customization of National Fire Academy (NFA) training courses and materials. The goal is to enhance the professional development of fire and emergency response personnel, improve public safety, and bolster state and local capacity to deliver high-quality, standardized fire and EMS training. Funding covers direct delivery of NFA courses, distribution of student manuals and instructor guides, and other training-related needs that align with national standards.
