Description
The Flint Kids Fund is a 20-year initiative by the Community Foundation of Greater Flint, established in response to the Flint water crisis. Its mission is to support the long-term health, development, and resilience of Flint’s children, especially those most vulnerable to the effects of lead exposure and trauma. The Fund invests in programs that increase access to healthy food and nutrition, expand high-quality education and literacy, improve access to comprehensive primary care, and strengthen family and emotional supports. The aim is to ensure Flint’s youth can thrive and recover fully, supported by robust community systems.
