Florida Humanities’ Florida Talks program enables eligible organizations across Florida to bring distinguished scholars, journalists, authors, and humanities experts to their communities for engaging public presentations. Designed to illuminate Florida’s past, present, and future, these talks foster public dialogue and a deeper appreciation of Florida’s diverse stories and cultures. Each program features a 30–45 minute presentation followed by an audience Q&A, and is tailored for adult audiences. The initiative is part of the statewide celebration of the nation’s 250th anniversary in 2026 and features over 70 unique presentations.
