Description
This program supports the Cooperative Extension System’s (CES) capacity to enhance the resilience of the U.S. food and agriculture sector against biosecurity risks, natural disasters, cyber threats, and other shocks through the Extension Disaster Education Network (EDEN). The funded project will provide national coordination, administrative leadership, and capacity-building for EDEN, enabling CES professionals to deliver disaster education and technical assistance to farmers, families, businesses, and communities. The scope of work includes supporting EDEN’s executive committee and advisory boards, managing logistics for meetings and onboarding, administering the EDEN website, overseeing communications and annual meeting coordination, supporting task forces, fostering partnerships, and evaluating project outcomes.
