The Food for Progress (FFPr) Program is the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s flagship agricultural development initiative for emerging and developing economies. It provides U.S. agricultural commodities to eligible countries, which are then monetized (sold) in local markets. The proceeds are used to fund projects that support agricultural productivity growth and expand trade of agricultural products, both domestically and internationally.
The program targets countries committed to introducing or expanding free enterprise in the agricultural sector. FFPr projects can address a wide range of topics, including:

Applicants may propose work in one of the FFPr FY25 priority countries (Kenya, Colombia, Vietnam, Ethiopia) or submit for other non-priority countries with strong justification.
