The program offers short-, mid-, and long-term fellowships to support scholars from outside the New York City metropolitan area who wish to conduct in-depth, on-site research using the resources of the NYPL’s Dorot Jewish Division. Fellows receive an affiliation with Fordham University and are expected to engage with the academic community by delivering a public presentation and a faculty seminar at Fordham. The program aims to facilitate research projects that rely on NYPL’s unique Jewish Studies collections.
