Description
This funding opportunity will renew support for the Multiple Chronic Diseases Research Coordinating Center (MCD-RCC), which serves as a national resource to coordinate regional research centers focused on the prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and management of co-existing chronic diseases, with a particular emphasis on reducing health disparities. The MCD-RCC will:
- Coordinate activities among participating research centers, including data management and collaboration.
- Promote skills development among early-stage investigators.
- Build and lead a community of practice.
- Facilitate engagement with communities and healthcare systems.
The center will lead efforts in four core domains:
- Consortium organization, management, and communication.
- Research coordination and data standardization, sharing, harmonization, and analysis.
- Research skills development.
- Community and healthcare setting/system engagement.

There is no cost sharing or matching requirement.
