Description
This opportunity funds a comprehensive land rehabilitation and maintenance project at Fort Wainwright, Donnelly Training Area, and Yukon Training Area in Alaska. The project supports the 11th Airborne Division Training Support Activity - Alaska Integrated Training Area Management Sustainable Range Program. The primary goal is to implement the Integrated Natural Resources Management Plan (INRMP), ensuring military training areas remain healthy, resilient, and ecologically diverse, while maintaining compliance with all environmental laws and regulations.
The scope includes ecosystem management, erosion control, habitat enhancement, trail and road maintenance, vegetation management, and restoration of training lands impacted by military activities. The project is structured as a cooperative agreement, with significant government involvement throughout execution.
