--- ## Description This Horizon Europe Coordination and Support Action aims to consolidate the European science diplomacy landscape. The funded project will map all key science diplomacy actors and ecosystems across the EU—including academia, policymakers, diplomats, civil society, and business—and provide a taxonomy of European science diplomacy. A central outcome will be the design and launch of a European Science Diplomacy Platform, serving as a community of research and practice, and providing resources for institutional capacity building, knowledge sharing, and scaling up best practices. The project will also develop training schemes, competence frameworks, and curricula for science diplomacy, with particular attention to the needs of science counsellors and diplomats handling science-related matters. The action will further support EU foreign and security policy objectives, strengthen multilateralism, design impact assessment methods, and explore synergies with related fields (such as digital, tech, and cultural diplomacy).
