The Franco Faculty Fellowships, administered by the Franco Institute at the University of Notre Dame, provide competitive internal fellowships for tenured and tenure-track faculty in the College of Arts & Letters. The program supports research, creative work, and public scholarship through three fellowship tracks: Humanities, Public, and Mid-Career. Awards are designed to offer faculty course relief, research funds, and professional development opportunities to advance major scholarly or creative projects and foster academic innovation. Each fellowship type targets specific career stages and project types, with the aim of deepening scholarly impact and enhancing the public good.
