This fellowship program, administered by the Center for Khmer Studies (CKS) in partnership with the Institut National des Langues et Civilisations Orientales (INALCO), provides direct research funding, logistical support, and access to in-country resources for French scholars and eligible EU citizens conducting research in the social sciences and humanities focused on Cambodia. Research may also extend to other mainland Southeast Asian countries (Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, southern China) as long as part of the research is conducted in Cambodia. The program is open to doctoral and postdoctoral researchers and aims to foster integration into the Cambodian and international academic community, advance knowledge on Cambodian society and culture, and support both independent and collaborative research projects.
