The Fulbright Arctic Initiative brings together professionals, practitioners, and researchers from Arctic Council member countries to collaboratively address key research and policy questions related to the Arctic region. The program operates over 18 months and includes monthly webinars, thematic group collaborations, three in-person meetings, and an individual exchange experience. Scholars focus their research on themes such as Climate Change and Arctic Resources, Arctic Security and Governance, and Mental Health and Well-Being. Intellectual leadership and mentoring are provided by Co-Lead Scholars, who facilitate connections to international experts and foster collaborative research. The initiative aims to promote interdisciplinary research, build international networks, and support policy development for a secure and prosperous Arctic.
