The Fulbright-Carlos Rico Award for North American Studies offers U.S. scholars the unique opportunity to conduct research, teaching, and academic engagement in both Canada and Mexico. The award is designed to foster trilateral collaboration on projects of importance to Canada, Mexico, and the United States, with the aim of advancing mutual understanding and addressing shared challenges. Projects may include collaborative research, curriculum development, faculty and program development, and organizing seminars or workshops. The program is open to all academic disciplines except medical training, with a special emphasis on topics such as North American regionalization, public policy, technology and AI, trade and supply chains, security, public health, and substance abuse.
