This award supports distinguished U.S. full or associate professors to conduct collaborative research for 4–5 months at Flinders University’s Jeff Bleich Centre for Democracy and Disruptive Technologies in South Australia. The Distinguished Chair will be affiliated with the College of Business, Government and Law, with research expected to align with one or more of the Centre’s themes: Democracy, Participation, and Human Rights; Defense, Security, and Space; or Artificial Intelligence, Social Media, and Disruptive Technologies. In addition to research, recipients are encouraged to engage with the host community through public talks, mentoring, and outreach, advancing the Fulbright mission of international understanding.
