The Fulbright Fellowships (ASCSA Affiliation in Greece) allow U.S.-based applicants to conduct research or study in Greece with the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) as their host institution. Through this affiliation, applicants gain access to the School’s extensive archaeological, historical, and cultural resources, including specialized libraries, archives, and on-site research facilities. The ASCSA provides institutional support via a formal Letter of Affiliation, which is required as part of the Fulbright application process for grants in Greece. This opportunity is available for several Fulbright U.S. Student Program awards, including joint research and open study/research grants.
