The American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) welcomes Fulbright U.S. Student Program applicants who want to affiliate with the School for a project in Greece. An ASCSA letter of affiliation identifies the host and proposed collaboration for a Fulbright application. ASCSA considers affiliation requests; the scope of research support depends on the Fulbright award selected.
Applicants may seek ASCSA affiliation for five Greece-related Fulbright opportunities: the Bulgaria–Greece Joint Research Award, Greece–Turkey Joint Research Award, Graduate Studies at Greek State Universities Award, IKY Ph.D. Research Award, and Open Study/Research Award. Projects must be well formulated and achievable with guidance from an adviser or mentor at an appropriate institution.
