Description
The Cotsen Traveling Fellowship is a short-term grant offered annually by the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (ASCSA) for Ph.D. holders and graduate students whose research requires access to the unique holdings of the Gennadius Library. Established in honor of Lloyd E. Cotsen, the fellowship encourages scholars to immerse themselves in the library's resources and participate in the academic life of both the School and the Library. Recipients are expected to reside in Athens for at least one month during the academic year, engage in research activities, and contribute copies of any publications resulting from their fellowship-supported work to the Gennadius Library.
