This award enables a U.S. scholar to spend three months at the University of Bologna, Italy, engaging in both teaching and research on topics such as big data, environment, cultural heritage, health and well-being, space, sustainability, and the circular economy. The scholar will teach two graduate-level courses (one 20-hour module and one 10-hour seminar), design syllabi in collaboration with the host department, and conduct independent and collaborative research.
