This award enables a distinguished U.S. scholar in public international law, with a focus on human rights, to spend one or two semesters at Lund University’s Faculty of Law and the Raoul Wallenberg Institute of Human Rights and Humanitarian Law (RWI) in Sweden. The scholar will conduct research in international human rights law, design and teach a five-week master's-level course, mentor students and early-career researchers, and participate in seminars and workshops. The position promotes collaboration between American and Swedish human rights scholars and strengthens multidisciplinary initiatives at Lund University.
