    Description

This opportunity funds a single cooperative agreement to design, implement, and manage the suite of Fulbright Teacher Exchange Programs for Fiscal Year 2027. The program advances U.S. educational and foreign policy goals by engaging K-12 educators—both American and international—in professional exchanges. These exchanges focus on the arts, humanities, STEM, technology (including AI), and fields critical to U.S. economic and security interests. The recipient organization will be responsible for outreach, recruitment, selection, placement, and support for participants, as well as for alumni engagement, program evaluation, and compliance with Department of State and Fulbright policies.

The program includes both outbound (U.S. teachers abroad) and inbound (foreign teachers to the U.S.) exchanges and supports a variety of models (short- and long-term, virtual, and in-person). Activities aim to build participant skills, foster mutual understanding, and expand the global impact of American educational practices.
