Summary: Supports postdoctoral fellows analyzing large ECHO cohort data to advance research in child health outcomes.
This opportunity provides Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) Individual Postdoctoral Fellowships (F32) to stimulate the use of Environmental Influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Cohort data by postdoctoral researchers. The goal is to advance research and training in high-priority child health areas by leveraging ECHO’s extensive, de-identified longitudinal datasets, housed within the NICHD Data and Specimen Hub (DASH) repository. The ECHO dataset contains data from over 71,000 participants across the U.S., capturing prenatal and child exposures to physical, chemical, social, behavioral, and biological factors. Research should focus on one or more of ECHO's five primary pediatric outcome areas: pre-, peri-, and postnatal outcomes; upper and lower airway health; obesity; neurodevelopment; and positive health.
