This NIH opportunity is designed to support postdoctoral fellows aiming to advance research and training in child health by leveraging the Environmental influences on Child Health Outcomes (ECHO) Cohort data. The ECHO program provides a large, de-identified longitudinal dataset—integrated within the NICHD Data and Specimen Hub (DASH)—covering over 71,000 maternal and child participants across the U.S. Eligible research areas include prenatal and child environmental exposures and five primary pediatric outcomes: pre-, peri-, and postnatal outcomes; upper and lower airway outcomes; obesity and related consequences; neurodevelopment; and positive health. The fellowship aims to foster the entry of new investigators into early environmental exposures and child health research.
